Anca Apahidean – Area Manager Eastern Europe IATA. Over 25 years industry experience in Aviation. Trained as an Aircraft Engineer with advanced studies in Sales and Marketing, Business and Administration. Since November 2010 Anca holds the position of Area Manager Eastern Europe (Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland) managing the operations and all IATA activities in the Eastern European countries, working closely with Governmental authorities, member airlines and other industry stakeholders, suppliers and service providers in the region.

Jordan Karamalakov – Branch Manager of International Air Transport Association (IATA) office in Bulgaria (2000 – 2012). Jordan has worked in the field of airline industry since 1979. He used to be Market manager in Balkan Airlines and representative in Copenhagen. In 2000 Jordan established an IATA branch in Bulgaria. He used to be Chairman of Board of Directors of Bulgaria Air. Since 2012 Jordan has been a Regional Manager of IATA for Central Asia.

Tony Hemsley – Senior Principal – Product Marketing in Sabre. Tony’s 35 year career has been entirely dedicated to travel and travel technology. With an initial background in airline reservations, ticketing and distribution with British Midland, Tony moved from customer of, to provider of, travel technology solutions with the Speedwing airline hosting business and subsequently a variety of product marketing and product management responsibilities for each of the 3 major GDS companies. Tony joined Sabre in 2006 and currently leads the NDC Product Marketing function for Sabre Travel Network. Working closely with customers and colleagues across the globe Tony is part of the Sabre Beyond NDC team driving success in retailing, distribution and fulfillment.

Arian Shkaki – Business Development at Lufthansa Group. Holding a Master’s Degree in English Philology from the University of Sofia “St. Kliment Ochridski” and trying different jobs as a student, Arian ended up working in one of the biggest travel agencies in Sofia, Bulgaria in the early 1994. With more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry – starting as a travel consultant, shifting over into the world of airlines and gradually moving through various positions – Arian is now responsible for the business development and business strategy of Lufthansa Group in Bulgaria, Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo. Since 2015 Arian became closely involved in the Lufthansa Group distribution strategy, the direct connect channels and NDC. He is also the acting APJC chairman for Bulgaria. Amongst his many other interests outside the travel and airline industry are photography, music, travel and wine.

Thibault Lenoir – Managing Director of APG France. Thibault a former corporate banker, has been the Managing Director of APG France since 2010. He has sales experience both in the airline and banking industry. Apart from his GSA activities in France he has also specialized in payments for airlines (UATP) and has joined recently APG’s task force on NDC for the launch of the APG Platform.

Alexander Bogoyavlenski – Leading consultant in digital and corporate communications with more than 20 years of experience in media, public relations, information technologies and aviation. Currently is Managing Partner at digital agency Trinitix LLC and member of Hewlett-Packard’s Global Digital Marketing Council. Until 2009 he is Manager Strategic Outsourcing Communication for EMEA at HP. Formerly part of President Petar Stoyanov’s communication team and journalist at BNR, BBC Worldwide and Radio Free Europe. Master in International Relations in Sofia and London. Graduated Airline Management Masterclass in 2012, author and host of Airshow – the only broadcast program dedicated to aviation in Bulgaria, produced by Bulgaria ON AIR.

Donyo Markov – Managing Director of Esky. Donyo has a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Master’s degree in „Management of Tourism“ at New Bulgarian University. His first steps in the tourism industry are doing as a consultant in the leading international TravelStoreMaker – travel software company. In a short time he became a sales manager, and later headed the company’s affiliate department. In 2008, Donyo met with the founder of the young Polish online travel agency eSky, whose plans for expansion started in Bulgaria. So Donyo becomes managing director of the first foreign branch of eSky, which is currently operating on more than 30 markets on three continents. In 2015, Donyo took over the leadership of the Turkish branch of the company, and from this year he is also responsible for the markets of Serbia, Greece, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ivelina Ignatova-Tsankova – Marketing Manager of Bohemia Travel Agency. Ivelina has more than 7-year-experience in the tourism industry (product marketing, marketing management, event management, sales, tour guiding, corporate travel, etc.). Ivelina has a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Master’s degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management and Marketing in Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and successfully finished an Entrepreneurship program in Babson college, Massachusetts & Institute for International Education New York. Ivelina has experience and additional education in digital marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, e-commerce, email marketing and etc.

Maria Stoyanova – a Bulgarian travel blogger and co-founder of the Association of Travel Bloggers in Bulgaria (ASTOM). For the last three years, Maria helped travel companies promote their services through bloggers and influencers. Currently, Maria is a Content Manager at Travel Massive – the largest open network of tourism professionals. As Sofia Travel Massive chapter leader, she also organizes regular networking events for the tourism industry in the city. Maria has a Bachelor and Master degrees in Tourism.

Radomir Rusev – Co-founder of Travel Academy. Radomir has 11 years of experience in the tourism industry. He is a Digital Ninja and Head of Marketing at Loyal Travel. Radomir is co-founder of Travel Academy – the leading tourism conference in Bulgaria, organized since 2013. The event aims to unite the travel sector in Bulgaria through discussions and networking opportunities, attracting industry professionals from all over the country. Travel Academy is coming again for its sixth edition on 5-6 April 2019.

Philip Matov – Founder & CEO at Belayer. Philip worked at BNP Paribas Cardif in Japan, dealing with business development, new technologies and start-ups. During his stay in Tokyo, he became a personal adviser to Satoshi Kobayashi, the founder of Smart Contract Japan and member of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance. Philip Matov is a Bachelor of Applied Mathematics, a Master of Financial Markets at Université Paris-Dauphine, and a Master of Applied Mathematics from City University of Hong Kong.

Valentin Dimitrov – COO at Belayer. Valentin has been dealing with the production and trade of digital assets since 2012. Since 2014 he gained extensive experience in blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies by being a miner and an investor in the field. He is a graduate of Universita Bocconi in International Economics and Management.
